For Long Beach Island real estate agents

Property care for LBI real estate agents—before listing and after closing.

When a client needs a shore home prepared, checked, or handed off, start with one property. Haven reviews the owner's permission, the requested timing, the type of care, and current local coverage before confirming a next step.

Useful client moments

A warm handoff when the property needs attention.

Haven is a property-care coordinator, not a brokerage. The goal is simple: help the owner understand what was requested, what can be reviewed, and what happens next.

01

Before a listing

Organize owner-approved cleaning, exterior care, seasonal readiness, or small repair follow-up before photos and showings.

02

After a finding

Route owner-authorized follow-up from an existing report without asking Haven to inspect, interpret, or certify the property.

03

After closing

Give a buyer or seller a clear starting point for home watch, seasonal care, owner updates, and local service coordination.

04

Before an arrival

Help a client describe access, timing, and readiness priorities for a shore-home visit without scattering details across texts.

The small agent pilot

A three-step review, starting with one property.

Nothing is promised before the owner, scope, timing, access, and local provider coverage are clear.

  1. 01

    Introduce the need

Share the property area, requested date, owner-permission status, and the care the client wants reviewed. Haven will request contact details through the appropriate path if the handoff advances.

  2. 02

    Confirm permission + fit

Haven confirms who may authorize work, what information may be shared, and whether current category and area coverage fit the request.

  3. 03

    Give one clear next action

If the request can move forward, Haven explains the next step. If it cannot, the agent and owner receive an honest coverage update.

LBI listing-readiness checklist

What to collect before asking for help.

This short list makes the first review faster. Keep private access details out of the form; Haven will request them only through the appropriate path if the request advances.

Start with the owner

  • Whether owner permission is confirmed and who may authorize the next step. Haven will request contact details later through the appropriate path if needed.
  • Property municipality and a plain-language description of the need.
  • The requested date and the reason that date matters.

Describe the visible goal

  • Examples: listing-photo readiness, cleaning, exterior care, seasonal opening, a small repair, or post-closing home care.
  • Existing photos or reports may be referenced, but Haven does not perform or interpret a licensed property inspection.
  • Note any provider the owner already trusts so the handoff respects that relationship.

Save sensitive details for later

  • Do not place alarm codes, lockbox codes, keys, payment details, or private documents in the first request.
  • Emergency and life-safety issues should go directly to the appropriate emergency service or licensed professional.

Client-safe visibility

Useful updates without crossing roles.

The owner or other recorded property authority remains the decision-maker. The agent receives only the update that person has allowed Haven to share.

AUTHORITY

The owner or recorded authority approves the work.

An agent can introduce the need, but Haven confirms authorization before scheduling, access, or service commitments.

VISIBILITY

The update matches permission.

Haven can return a limited status such as “reviewing coverage” or “next step confirmed” without exposing private owner or provider details.

BOUNDARIES

Haven stays in property care.

Haven is not a brokerage, home inspector, security service, emergency responder, or guarantee that a deadline or provider will be available.

Questions agents may ask

The simple answers.

The pilot is intentionally small. Availability depends on the property, category, timing, owner permission, and current LBI coverage.

Can Haven handle items from an inspection report?

Haven may review owner-authorized follow-up requests and help route the appropriate property-care or trade category. Haven does not inspect the home, interpret the report, certify repairs, or replace a licensed professional.

Who controls access and property details?

The owner or another authorized party does. Do not send keys, codes, payment information, or private documents in the first request. Haven confirms the proper access path only if the request advances.

Can Haven promise a listing or closing deadline?

No. Haven reviews timing and local provider coverage before confirming any available next step. A requested date is a planning input, not a guarantee.

Does Haven pay real estate referral fees?

No referral compensation is offered in the initial agent pilot. The current goal is a clean, owner-authorized handoff for property-care needs.

Is Haven an open marketplace?

No. Haven is building a controlled early network and is now onboarding select local providers. Requests are reviewed rather than instantly matched.
